Paul G. Jarvis

     Paul G. Jarvis graduated from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas, in 1975 and received his law degree from Washburn Law School, Topeka, Kansas in 1978.  He has practiced law in Buffalo, Wyoming since 1978 and is admitted to the U.S. District Court, District of Wyoming.  He served as Justice of the Peace for Johnson County, Wyoming from 1985 to 2005 and has served as Circuit Court Magistrate for the Fourth Judicial District, Johnson County, Wyoming since 2005.

     Mr. Jarvis has served on the National Conference of Special Court Judges and the Wyoming Conference of Special Court Judges.  He has served on the Wyoming Medical Review Panel, the Wyoming Supreme Court Permanent Committee on Wyoming Court Rules Relating to the Courts of Limited Jurisdiction, and the Wyoming Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Court Automation.

      Engaged in many community activities, Mr. Jarvis has served as Chairperson of the Buffalo Housing Authority, a member of the Johnson County Youth Council, Vice President of the Regional State Museum Joint Powers Board, President of the Buffalo Rotary Club, Director of the Johnson County YMCA Foundation, Director of Buffalo Helping Hands, Inc., Director of the Johnson County Arts & Humanities Foundation President of Johnson County Search & Rescue, and as Director of the Johnson County CASA.
